  Professional, very competent, efficient, neat, nice workers!
  
  We had water coming into our basement at the door. We tried to fix our own basement problem for well over a year. Took the door off, used hydraulic cement, waterproof paint, re-routed gutters, added grading. Nothing helped. Seems you can’t keep out the sea. Fearing a disastrous expense, we called United Waterproofing. Their agent came over and analyzed the problem, told us he’d consult with the office and let us know. We had visions of extensive outside work so they could tar or cement the outside, who knows? Within a day he called, with an estimate that was clearly worth the solution to our problems. When the workers arrived, they were courteous, friendly, with a great air of earned competence and professionalism. They explained their plan, sealed off the area with plastic to avoid dust, and went to work with heavy-duty tools that few people are qualified to wield. Within a few hours, they called us down to show us what was going on, and we saw a babbling brook where our stairs met the house. This is what we had been trying to keep at bay, a clearly impossible task. They had cut a neat channel in the floor, drilled holes in the concrete so the water could drain, and installed a special neat screen that allowed the water to flow into the channel. Within a short time, they had put fresh concrete over the channel. Works like a charm. We don’t have to put towels on the floor each day anymore. Brilliant!
  In summary, it was a wonderful experience. If we had known these good people earlier, we would have saved a lot of worry and work. I sincerely and heartily endorse them, and offer them a shout of thanks! We are very glad to have found them and met them.
